Funky Elder (Superman)

I was recently hired to work on this project called Funky Elder. It is an up and coming clothing line, a while back they had a previous artist create the character (Skinny old guy with thick glasses) and a bunch of illustrations but just recently they picked me up. Here is the first illustration I did for them, it is going to be a poster. Check it out Funky Elder

Prints For Sale
Six illustrations of mine just got excepted on inPRNT, so if you wouldlike a print of mine inPRNT is a great place. InPRNT only uses Hahnemuhle papers for printing. Hahnemuhle produces top of the line gallery quality papers. They also use Epson UltraChrome inks.

Senior Select!

Yesterday, I got a call from the head of the illustration department, Gill Ashby, and found out that I was chosen to be the illustration senior select of 09. This means that for the end of the year student show, I will be showing my work in the Center Gallery with the other department senior selects and on the illustration floor. Also I have been slacking on my blog post so I will hopefully be back in the swing soon.

I am tired

So last was a long night of drawing and today I am paying for it, so after I post this I am off to bed. Well the Botobit cover is my senior studio project I was working on. I am pretty happy. Also the Michael Moore portrait was for the Illustration floor gallery. A couple Illustration students started it, every week there is a new topic and then you just post your work on the wall. Pretty cool!

Athies Project / Pack One
Throughout the semester I am going to be collecting textures, either by scanning or taking good photographs of things. Then I thought why not let everyone access them, so I am going to be creating little rar packs of high res. texture for everyone to download. You can use these however you want. Have fun.

Pen / Sketchbook

I am back at CCS and I again inspired to draw, so picked up a new sketchbook and a pack of Bic Pens. My goal is to fill this sketchbook as fast as I can with nothing but pen. Soon I will have some finished art up and not just sketchbook stuff but for now that's all I got. Enjoy.

Cd Cover Tease
Hey everyone, I just finished the line work for the Four Man Fishin' Tackle Choir cd cover and I thought I would tease everyone throwing up a little pic. These guys are awesome and have some amazing vocal talents. Make sure to check out there website, I am not sure if they have samples or not but check it out. Cd art is due Saturday so the final version will be posted around then.
Also spent around 100 bucks and built myself a 24 by 30 inch light box. Works like a charm.
