Happy Land
Here's the final for my Inventive Environments class. At the beginning of the semester, I drew this sketch in my sketchbook and revisited it to work up into a final drawing. It's always nice to have a sketch that can become one of my assignments. The sketch is a bit smudged since I like to fill up both sides of the page. I took the original sketch and enlarged it on a copy machine then worked out the details. The final line drawing turned out good, but I didn't do the final exactly like the sketch. I changed the boy's face and hands and then I warped the sun's mouth and changed his nose. I added some more flowers on the left, so it gave the left corner more of a leading curve. Eventually, I did some more changes here and there. Well, I'm glad this piece is finished, and I can't wait to print it out. Now I'm working on a short fairy comic. Hope to post that by next week.![]()

In a few more hours after I get done teaching my last class of the year, it surely will be "Happy Land".
Nice job, WE.
