Happy Land

Here's the final for my Inventive Environments class. At the beginning of the semester, I drew this sketch in my sketchbook and revisited it to work up into a final drawing. It's always nice to have a sketch that can become one of my assignments. The sketch is a bit smudged since I like to fill up both sides of the page. I took the original sketch and enlarged it on a copy machine then worked out the details. The final line drawing turned out good, but I didn't do the final exactly like the sketch. I changed the boy's face and hands and then I warped the sun's mouth and changed his nose. I added some more flowers on the left, so it gave the left corner more of a leading curve. Eventually, I did some more changes here and there. Well, I'm glad this piece is finished, and I can't wait to print it out. Now I'm working on a short fairy comic. Hope to post that by next week.

Marcus Comic

Here's a comic I did for my Sequential Storytelling class about a month and a half ago. I drew all the individual frames on paper. Then I scanned them and aligned them. I hope you enjoy and don't have a pet rat. Muuaaahhhhaa...

Four in the Morning Guy!

So, I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. I decided what the hell- why not do a little drawing for y'all. Yea, I said it "y'all". Here it is, I drew it all on Photoshop which took around an hour and a half and colored it the next morning. I've been drawing my characters with some crazy long arms lately. It's just for fun! Don't go getting yourself beat up now.
