Help Me Out! VOTE

There is a Battle of the Artist going on right now at Designer's Depot and I am one of the four being recognized, so help a brother out and go VOTE for me. Here is the link

I am also working a pretty big side project with a classmate that I will talk about later. The basis is a website that is dedicated towards selling prints and originals of our collaboration art work. Most of it is going to be traditional. Look for it it is going to be tight.

Long Night of Drawing

So after a long night of no sleep and drawing with Matt Byle and Ant B I finished two things. I finished my superhero painting with I think I like, although the print out looks way to dark. Then I finished my other superhero ninja guy. Unfortunately I only had time to do a value study for him. Then to top off all the uploading I added a sketchbook page.

Grand Ruler

So today in class we were working on our superhero characters. I finally came up with something I liked. I need to start finalizing him in Photoshop but instead I decided to have some fun instead. Haha. I will finish the superhero tomorrow. So the fun painting I did is of the "Grand Ruler" skull. It stands for the inability to please everyone when you are of grand power and need to make important choices that effect everyone you stand for. You get that, I just made it up. Haha.

Suicide King of Hearts

I haven't been that pleased with the stuff I have been creating. I also haven't been pleased with the way my finals have been looking, they are just to boring or something I think. I am going to start keeping my sketchy lines in and keeping it really loose. These brother kings are met to be loose and scratchy. This is my rendition of the Suicide King of Hearts. Hopefully I will get around to do all the Kings or at least a Queen, Jack, and an Ace. I did this all digital, just sketched it out and then went at it.

Addison (Sat. Morning)

So, I'm not to pleased with this final. The assignment was to create a Saturday morning cartoon character. This, to me, means something that is basic with nice lines and easily to animate. That is totally not me right there. I wish I would have went outside of the assignment a tad but whatever.

I am going to be uploading some sketches from my new sketchbook earlier today, keep and eye out for those. The sketches are for my next assignment and some random stuff.

Kara Facebook Drawing

So last night, I was pretty bored. I was on Facebook and decided to draw on Kara's wall. I found a picture of her and went to town. I 'm not sure how long it took me, but I know that I was there for a while. I wanted it to be perfect or as perfect as you can get for the Facebook drawing program. Here it is. Featured Artist at Designers Depot

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted any artwork in a while. I have been taking it easy over Christmas break, and I 've been working on a website for my high school.
